Plan description

This is a great plan that allows you to experience Japanese-born "kana" calligraphy and a weaving workshop tour in a textile workshop. In the ``kana'' calligraphy experience, you will choose your favorite words and practice them in fine strokes, and at the end, you will write them on colored paper or a small fan and take them home. We will carefully teach you how to move the brush. Beginners are also welcome. After completion, you can tour the traditional textile workshop with an explanation. You can see and touch some of Japan's finest works of art, which are world-class, and have a valuable experience learning about their history. You can also go shopping.

Kana calligraphy experience

Choose one word of your choice and write a model. You will practice a lot with fine brushwork, and at the end, you will print it out on colored paper or a small fan and take it home. We will carefully teach you how to move the brush. Beginners are also welcome.

Visit the Mitsumine Nishikiori workshop run by textile artist Mitsumine Tatsumura

In the workshop tour, you can visit the Nishikori workshop of textile artist Koho Tatsumura. Mr. Tatsumura is a person who has worked on the preservation and training of traditional techniques, and has worked on the restoration of "Ryokuchi Kacho Beast Bunnishiki", etc. You can see Nishikori's works, restoration cracks, high machinery, textile materials, etc. with explanations. You can also shop.
