The best clear stream in Japan, the Saru River, and the best Mukawa in the torrent way

The Saru River, which originates in the Hidaka Mountains, runs just behind the HOA and has been selected as the number one clear stream in Japan. And Mukawa, which is said to be the most torrent in Hokkaido. No matter how many times you go down the course, you will be thrilled with a big drop and a tricky rapid course. Both are popular rivers for repeaters. Of course, even if you are new to us, the guide will support you.

The best season is "Spring in the thaw"

From late April to mid-May, the river rises as the snow melts, so you can literally enjoy the "torrent". In addition, the amount of water will increase temporarily during the typhoon season and after rain, so this is a goal. Another hot and hot summer day. At times like this, it's nice to dive into cold water and spend a cool day, regardless of the amount of water. There is also a diving point where you can surf the raft in the river (rapid) and shrug your feet. The guide will show you how to play in the summer.

HOA Hokkaido Outdoor Adventures: Hokkaido Saru-gun Hidaka Chie 132

From Hidaka center, toward the Nisshō Pass (Obihiro direction), and run about 8km the R274, because there is "Senryo Rokyo (Chiroro Bridge)" according to Saru, you turn left at the front thereof (HOA of the sign the other, there is also a sign of large fishing pond). HOA on your right you will see proceeds about 100m.
