We will guide you to the mountains and rivers on a small group tour limited to 2 groups on the world natural heritage site ``Iriomote Island'', a remote island 500 kilometers away from the main island of Okinawa. We offer a variety of tour menus, including river kayaking, trekking, limestone caves, and waterfall play while observing the nature of the virgin forest. We are also proud of our snacks made with ingredients from Iriomote Island and locally handmade Yaeyama soba.
Iriomote Island, the kayak trip, the hike, the waterfall, Ika the guide, his wife's amazing lunch were all truly incredible. We're so happy we made the choice to venture this far south. Go! Thank us later :-)

Ikachan was an amazing guide for nature viewing, kayaking, and hiking! As we hiked up to the top of the waterfall, he expertly identified a number of interesting flora and fauna. Once we arrived at the top, we enjoyed a wonderful lunch prepared by Ikachan, alongside a gorgeous view. Afterwards, we hiked down to the bottom of the waterfall, where we enjoyed a refreshing swim, tea, and snacks prepared by our guide (including a treat baked by his wife, and brown sugar from his friends’ farm). After that, we kayaked back to the starting point and were dropped off at the port. Thank you Ikachan!
Our guide, who is also a researcher for the Iriomote Island Wild Bird Research Association and is qualified as a nature observation instructor, will guide you around while adding detailed explanations about jungle creatures!
We will prepare homemade lunches and snacks using ingredients from Iriomote Island as much as possible ♪ Lunch is Yaeyama soba, which boasts the taste of melty soki and dashi soup. The snack was a homemade yeast cake made with homemade fruit jam from Iriomote Island.
You will be guided by Taketomi town-certified guides who have received permission to learn safety and knowledge for continued use while protecting Iriomote Island's excellent natural environment.
Born in Tochigi Prefecture. I love nature and living creatures (especially wild birds!) and studied at an environmental vocational school. After that, I worked as an outdoor shop clerk and a personal trainer, but I couldn't give up my desire to work in nature, so I finally moved from Tokyo to Iriomote Island in April 2018! I worked at Iriomote Island Canoe Club Sorakaze until March 2021, and opened my long-awaited shop in April 2021! I will be your only guide, and I will work closely with you to guide you through the great nature of Iriomote Island. Let's have fun together in the fields of Iriomote Island, where you can feel the power of nature with your whole body, which is hard to feel in the city☆
I'm a city kid who was born and raised in Tokyo, but I found myself living on Iriomote Island (lol).I've loved food ever since I was little. After working at a bakery in the basement of a department store for 10 years, she moved here with her two children. Hobbies: Making bread (I ran a bakery on Iriomote Island for about a year and a half. I make it from yeast) Cooking and drawing (I graduated from art college and still love drawing) Skin diving (dolphin swimming) (I used to spend a lot of time in the Ogasawara Islands)
