Nokogiriyama is known as a low-profile mountain on the Boso Peninsula. On its southern side is the grounds of Nippon-ji Temple, the imperial temple of Emperor Shomu, which will celebrate its 1,300th anniversary in 2025. This plan is a half-day tour to experience the charms of Nokogiriyama Nippon-ji Temple, starting from JR Yasuda Station, walking along the main approach to the temple and climbing Nokogiriyama from the mountain gate. Once inside the Nippon-ji Temple grounds, you can enjoy the mystical atmosphere of the tallest Buddha statue in Japan (as a seated statue and rock-carved Buddha), as well as the 1,500 arhat statues arranged on the mountainside. Climb the stairs to the top of the mountain, pass by the famous photo spots "Hell Peek" and "Hyakushaku Kannon", and then use the ropeway to return down the mountain.

At Mitsuishi Fudoson, a traditional esoteric Buddhist temple that worships the waterfall where Kobo Daishi trained at the age of 21, we will practice rituals at the goma and make our wishes come true. The prayer priest is Sato Myosen (representative of the Kishu Koyasan Yokofue Association), a nun who lives in Mt. Koya. After the Goma prayer, if the weather is good, you can visit the waterfall and achieve a unique purification. Although you can apply for the Goma prayer experience alone, we recommend visiting in a group.

This is the ultimate samurai experience supervised by Machii Isao, the world's best iaido master, who is also known for his iaido-slash technique using 6mm BB bullets flying at high speed. The instructor will be a Shushin-ryu iaido-hiho-denshi holder. In the historic and venerable grounds of Tada Shrine, you can learn the etiquette and history of ancient samurai, experience samurai martial arts, learn the structure of Japanese swords and the correct way to use them, and gain a wealth of knowledge about samurai and Japanese swords. After dressing in training clothes and learning samurai martial arts, you will be given the opportunity to stroll around part of the grounds of Tada Shrine while wearing your sword. *Due to the guidance of the Agency for Cultural Affairs and the National Police Agency, this plan does not provide instruction on how to try out Japanese swords to anyone other than disciples.

Beppu is one of the world's leading hot spring resorts. You can also try unusual hot springs such as steam baths and sand baths. Courses can be flexibly changed according to your tastes and age. First of all, if you can email me, I will make a course while walking and using a taxi. If there are two or more customers, we will take a taxi. If you are interested in more, there are scenic photo spots, shrines and local markets in this town. We will also guide you to steamed food shops, sushi and seafood that only locals know, and restaurants that suit you. Kannawa Onsen is a hot spring town. Take a break for about 30 minutes at a stylish cafe, using local ingredients for local consumption. We will drive you to Umi Jigoku, where Beppu's unique blue hot springs flow, and explain the hot springs and history. Finally, enjoy the beautiful private hot springs recommended! If you have any worries, or if there is something you want to hear but can't tell anyone, please come to the Kishu Koyasan Yokobue Society. The oldest things remaining at Koyasan are the Buddhist scriptures that Kobo Daishi brought back from China. These prayers are based on these scriptures. We will listen to your worries, such as chronic physical and mental symptoms, improving human relationships, and looking at the bright side of things, and show you the path to improvement through appropriate prayers.

Stroll with your guide around the Cliff Kannon (official name Daifukuji), a rare Kannon temple built on a cliff halfway up a mountain. After enjoying the spectacular view of Tateyama Bay, you will pass through the streets and coastline of Funagata, a town that has long prospered as a fishing town, and visit a local fish shop. Enjoy lunch in a private room at a private restaurant run directly by the fish shop on this short 3-hour course. It's the perfect light activity to do after checking out of your hotel!
