This special guided tour visits Ishiyama-dera Temple, which is associated with Murasaki Shikibu, the protagonist of this year's taiga drama, and the "To You, Shining Lake Biwa Otsu Taiga Drama Museum." A local volunteer guide will provide a detailed tour of the highlights of Ishiyama-dera Temple and the drama museum. You can also enjoy the Seta River and Lake Biwa River Cruise, which gives you a sense of the history of the Ishiyama pilgrimage that Murasaki Shikibu experienced. This cruise departs from in front of the Ishiyama-dera temple gate, and offers a special experience of being able to enjoy the beautiful scenery that Murasaki Shikibu would have seen from the boat. Relaxing at a cute cafe and tasting Yufuin's specialty sweets is sure to make you feel happy~ *Next, we'll explore Lake Kinrin. Famous for its mysterious mist, hot springs and crystal clear water, this lake is an amazingly beautiful tourist attraction. The lakeside Tenju Shrine and the torii gates in the lake create a mysterious and fantastical atmosphere, as if you've wandered into a fairy tale land. *If you love animals, Kyushu Natural Zoo is a must-see. It is Japan's largest wildlife park, where you can ride a cute jungle bus and interact with animals such as lions, elephants and giraffes. You can also interact with dogs and cats in the small animal petting area, which is sure to be a big thrill. *The trip to Beppu Onsen will take you to one of Kyushu's highlights, the famous "Sea Hell" and "Kawahigashi Hell". These two hot spring pools are not only beautiful in scenery, but also have excellent spring quality. In particular, the celadon pool water of Umi Jigoku is just like the blue ocean, but its temperature is a whopping 98 degrees! Known for its high-temperature jets and traditional customs, Kagoshima Jigoku is an unmissable part of the Beppu hot spring experience.
