Biwako Otsu Tours (Biwako Otsu Tourism Association) is a tour that allows you to discover the hidden charms of Lake Biwa and Otsu, planned from the unique perspective of a local tourism association. In addition to the standard attractions such as lake cruises, Omi beef gourmet, and Hieizan Enryakuji Temple, we offer special experiences that can only be found here, such as hidden spots only known by locals, seasonal events, Lake Biwa activities, and traditional craft experiences. Guides who know the area inside and out will accompany you and create unforgettable travel memories with their deep knowledge and loving guidance.
We will introduce carefully selected hidden spots not found in guidebooks, shops loved by locals, and seasonal events that only local tourist associations know about.
In addition to the standard tourist spots, we will visit places where you can experience the diverse charms of Lake Biwa and Otsu, such as places where you can deeply experience local history and culture, and places where you can enjoy beautiful nature. We will also introduce locally loved gourmet foods and souvenirs that only a few people know about.
Our guides love the local area and know its charms better than anyone else, and will provide you with heartfelt hospitality from start to finish of your trip. You will be able to experience the charm of Otsu not only through learning about its history, culture, and nature, but also through interacting with the local people.
