A swordsmith will teach you how to make Japanese knives using blacksmith techniques. Using the same material as Japanese swords, Tamahagane, the forged iron is shaped with a hammer. You can make your own clay holder and add a blade crest. Attach the blade, cut your name on it, and sharpen it to complete it. Although it is a physically demanding job, the swordsmith will be happy to assist you, so don't worry if you are not confident in doing the heavy lifting, such as children or women. You will spend a whole day making a small scale attached to the Japanese sword. The material is the same as the Japanese sword, and the world's highest grade iron (tamahagane) is used. You can make a soil holder by yourself and insert a blade crest. Attach the blade, cut your name on it, make a scabbard, and sharpen it to complete it.
