"Kobo Seikan" has a workshop, shop, and cafe, and you can enjoy a tour of the Yamanaka lacquerware production site, experience turning the wood, and enjoy shopping, lacquerware, and cafes and sweets. In this course, we will visit the studio (I will explain) ~ Making a vase ~ Lacquerware experience at a cafe (with a drink) Here, the lacquerware craftsmen are working every day. In this experience, you can observe it up close and learn about lacquerware production. The staff will give you easy-to-understand instructions. Next, you will make your own original flower vase using the wood turning wheel and plane that the craftsmen actually use. You can experience full-fledged wood sawing through making single flower vase. Most of the shapes are carved by yourself, so it's a little bit difficult, but it's fun! ! ! A friendly wood craftsman will teach you carefully, so you can make it yourself until the final completion. You will be satisfied. It is fun. Miyayoshi Seito boasts one of the largest scales in this Kutani ware production area, creating a truly diverse range of shapes, from small chopstick rests to large urns and plates with a diameter of 50 cm or more. That's no wonder, Miyayoshi Seito's factory boasts the best types of molding in the production area, and you can use various types of tools, machines, and human hands to shape pottery. In this program, you will experience making pottery on a potter's wheel and visit the factory, which is the most basic of Miyayoshi pottery.
