In this city where foreigners are rarely seen, this calligraphy activity, open to the public for the first time, allows you to meet a master calligrapher. ● Artist Madara's stylish and artistic "brush calligraphy" is a calligraphy experience that touches on the history and culture of calligraphy. The first half of the activity will cover the history of calligraphy and include a calligraphy class. In the second half, Madara, Japan's only brush calligrapher who practices the art of "brush calligraphy," which brings happiness, will convert your name into kanji and create a scroll with calligraphy. Furthermore, Madara is also a colorful Japanese ink wash artist, so you can create a one-of-a-kind tote bag, T-shirt, or tenugui (hand towel) design that combines your kanji name with MADARA's illustration. Enjoy Japanese sweets and matcha tea during the workshop, so there's no need to be nervous.
