This is a full-scale archery experience plan supervised by archer Ando Kotaro, who has appeared on many TV shows and radio programs! Would you like to try traditional archery that is a little different from Kyudo? Did you know that Kyudo did not exist during the samurai era before the Edo period (such as the Sengoku and Muromachi periods)? It will satisfy a wide range of levels, from the basics for beginners to practical practice of attaching an arrow to a waist and rapid shooting practice for those with Kyudo experience. Even those who are not physically strong can enjoy archery with peace of mind, as we also lend out short and weak bows and accommodate experiences while sitting on a chair. The event will be held outdoors.

Do you know the "Kanji of the Year" announced every December at Kiyomizu-dera Temple in Kyoto? This is a performance in which the "Kanji of the Year" character, which represents the state of the world for the year, is written large with a brush. "Taisho" means "to write large so that it is particularly noticeable." You can experience this "Taisho performance" at the popular Japanese culture experience cafe in Asakusa. There is no limit to the characters you can write. Please write your free ideas with a brush. Artistic calligrapher and contemporary artist Koji Takano will carefully guide you, so even beginners can feel at ease. Of course, you can take the completed work home with you. The performance is sure to look great on video! Let's keep a memento of the performance where you became an artist! You can face "calligraphy" by yourself and become an artist.
