Kairi is a renovated old house located in the inland scenery of Awaji Island, where the traditional scenery remains. The owner is particular about using seasonal ingredients that correspond to the seasons of Awaji Island! As much as possible, he uses locally grown and locally harvested ingredients. Kintsugi is a repair technique in which cracks, chips, and other damaged parts of ceramics are glued together with lacquer and decorated with gold and other metal powder. This is a fishpond-style dolphin pool located in Fukura Bay on the south side of Awaji Island.
