The course starts from a lake called Lake Toro, goes to the Arekinai River, goes to the main stream of the Kushiro River, goes up the Arekinai River by canoe, and returns to Lake Toro. Because it is a calm river, you can go up the river, and even those who are new to canoeing can experience it with peace of mind. The river does not freeze even in winter, so you can experience canoeing throughout the year. The scenery that changes according to the season, and the Yezo deer, white-tailed eagles, and red-crowned cranes that you can meet if your timing and luck are good are also highlights. In addition to observing the starry sky with the naked eye, astronomical observations using a Newton-type reflective telescope with a focal length of 800 mm and a diameter of 200 mm are also performed. It is a canoe experience of about 9 kilometers on the Kushiro River, which flows through the Kushiro Marsh. The meeting place is JR Senmo Line, Hosooka Station. This course starts from Lake Toro and goes down to Hosooka Canoe Port. As the name of the plan suggests, it is a place with a lot of trees even in the wetlands, and it is a course with the most wild animals. It is surrounded by deep green in spring, green in summer, and colored leaves in autumn. Of course, the guide will ride with you, so please leave the operation of the canoe to us. This area retains the original appearance of the marshland with few trees and many open landscapes. The meandering of the Kushiro River is also the most frequent course. It is a long course to enjoy the marshlands from Lake Toro to Hosooka Canoe Port to Iwahogi Floodgate. The first half is a forest course with many trees even in the wetlands. In the second half, there are few trees in the marshland, and the original appearance of the marshland remains with many open landscapes. There is also a toilet break at Hosooka Canoe Port on the way. Recommended for those who want to enjoy the wetlands for a long time. This is a tour that walks around the three observatories on the east side of Kushiro Marsh National Park. Hosooka Observatory - Sarubo Observatory - Sarurun Observatory. Hosooka Observatory can be reached by car! Light trekking to Sarubo Observatory and Sarurun Observatory! During the trek, you will walk slowly while looking for plants and wild birds, so don't worry if you are not confident in your physical strength! ~Experience Flow~ (For the 9:30 course) Meet at JR Senmo Line Toya Station at 9:30 Please be at Toya Station at the start time of the tour. (Reception will be done in the moving car) 10:00 Arrive at Hosooka Observatory! Hosooka Observatory is a place where you can go by car. First, enjoy the scenery of the Kushiro Marsh and the Kushiro River. 10:20 Move to the next destination, Toro! It takes about 25 minutes from Hosooka Observatory to Toro. When we arrive at Toro around 10:45, we stop by the station and take a restroom break. 11:00 Arrive at the parking lot under the Salvo Observatory! After parking the car, it's about a 20 minute trek from here to the Sarubo Observatory. After seeing the scenery at 11:30, move to Sarurun Observatory! It takes about 25 minutes to trek to Sarurun Observatory. 11:55 Arrival at Sarurun Observatory! Drinks are available, so please relax while watching the scenery. Get off at the parking lot where you parked the car around 12:20. 12:50 After using the restroom at Toro Station, head to Toya Station. 13:30 Arrive at Toya Station! It will be dissolved as it is when you arrive.
