Nokogiriyama is known as a low-profile mountain on the Boso Peninsula. On its southern side is the grounds of Nippon-ji Temple, the imperial temple of Emperor Shomu, which will celebrate its 1,300th anniversary in 2025. This plan is a half-day tour to experience the charms of Nokogiriyama Nippon-ji Temple, starting from JR Yasuda Station, walking along the main approach to the temple and climbing Nokogiriyama from the mountain gate. Once inside the Nippon-ji Temple grounds, you can enjoy the mystical atmosphere of the tallest Buddha statue in Japan (as a seated statue and rock-carved Buddha), as well as the 1,500 arhat statues arranged on the mountainside. Climb the stairs to the top of the mountain, pass by the famous photo spots "Hell Peek" and "Hyakushaku Kannon", and then use the ropeway to return down the mountain.

The tour usually starts at 10:00 with pick-up from your hotel in Yokohama or meeting at a major station. There are many sightseeing spots in Yokohama, so we will suggest a course according to your wishes. If you would like to make "Chicken Ramen" (90 minutes) at the Cup Noodles Museum or visit the Kirin Beer Factory (90 minutes), please contact us as reservations are required. Reservations are not required for "Cup Noodle Making (about 45 minutes)", but we recommend starting the tour at 9:30 as it is on a first-come, first-served basis. For lunch, we will take you to Chinatown, of course, but also to a long-established soba restaurant, a beef hotpot restaurant, a cutlet restaurant, and a restaurant that popularized Neapolitan. We also provide guided tours to Kamakura, Tokyo, and Disneyland the next day. We will also consult with you about sightseeing before and after the tour free of charge. Yokohama has many spots that are perfect as the backdrop for dramas and movies with various themes. Get closer to the drama by visiting the filming locations of recent TV dramas. This tour takes you around the historical sites and famous places of Ikaruga Town, including Horyu-ji Temple, which is registered as a World Heritage Site, and Horin-ji Temple, also known as Miidera Temple, which is associated with Prince Shotoku. There are also stops at each spot on the tour course, so you can enjoy taking pictures freely. Customers who wish can also enter the grounds of Horin-ji Temple and view the interior. (Admission fee is separate) Many Buddhist statues designated as important cultural properties are enshrined at Horin-ji Temple. Please be sure to view them. The tour uses a small 50cc buggy, so anyone with a driver's license can easily drive it. It is very easy to operate! Enjoy the scenery and fresh air of Ikaruga in a cute open-type buggy.
