You can experience silent Shiretoko here even in the crowds of summer vacation and autumn consecutive holidays. It is a course to go through the pioneering site and the forest and go to see the groundwater falls pouring into the Sea of Okhotsk. If it is fine, you can see the 200 m high cliff walls leading to Shiretoko Cape. It is a course that goes to see the falls of the cliffs like "Falls Falls", but there is no boardwalk, and overcoming logs, it is a somewhat wild place.

This is a trek that goes all around the Shiretoko Five Lakes designated as a special reserve of Shiretoko National Park, UNESCO's World Natural Heritage Area, including elevated wooden paths. This is Japan's first revolutionary Forest Adventure experience in which a licensed leader guides the area where brown bears live. In addition to the lake, you can observe seasonally changing nature, such as sika deer, red fox, wild birds, alpine plants, and autumn leaves. Because they are not fed, all creatures they encounter are real wildlife. Please contact us as it may be possible to respond to times that are not in the selection column.

Walk in Shiretoko National Park, a World Natural Heritage Site, with snowshoes during the snowy season. If there is no snow, walk without snowshoes. As you walk through the natural forest, you can see waterfalls and huge icicles flowing in the Sea of Okhotsk, and drift ice depending on the season. You can mainly observe Yezo deer and wild birds. You may also see eagles, woodpeckers, and flying squirrels, which are natural monuments.
I came alone, but the guide was very nice and still tried his best to explain things to me and take care of me. Overall, it was still very worthwhile to experience this trip:)

Take a walk on the ground footpaths of Lake Two and Lake One of Shiretoko Five Lakes, and return via elevated bridge. While walking along the promenade, observe the nature that changes with the season. We can mainly observe sika deer and wild birds.

It is a 2km walk to see the rare waterfall "Furepe Falls" that falls directly into the sea through the gaps of the cliffs. It is a place where you can see the Shiretoko mountain range beautifully if it is sunny. You can also observe how the site of the settlement is being restored to the forest by the Shiretoko 100m2 movement. It is a place where you can often see sika deer and wild birds.

If it's clear, we'll head to a scenic spot where you can see all the way to Cape Shiretoko, the tip of the Shiretoko Peninsula. The walk is not a promenade, but an exciting course that follows an animal trail. Along the way, there is a place where you can see a waterfall cascading from a cliff over 100m high, allowing you to enjoy the dynamic scenery of Shiretoko. The forest, home to wild animals such as brown bears, Ezo deer, and black woodpeckers, and the spectacular view overlooking the Sea of Okhotsk, where drift ice comes in winter, are recommended for those who want to experience the World Heritage Site of Shiretoko. It's a forest walk that will make you feel the great nature of Shiretoko and make you want to take a deep breath.
