This is a tour that will take you to several tour points where you can mainly capture the nocturnal beetle, the stag beetle, during the main hours of the day from 9pm to 11pm. Limited to summer, this is a nightly beetle and stag beetle hunting tour, aimed at small children. We will mainly hold the event on weekdays when there is less competition. We apologize for the late hours, but we would be happy if we could help you make summer memories with your children. We look forward to your early reservations. ▼Experience content On the day, we will visit several points and introduce tips for observation. We will observe beetles and stag beetles. You can see cicadas emerging, long-eared beetles, stag beetles, brown beetles, and on rare occasions, raccoon dogs. It is safe at night as there are few wasps. The number of observations varies depending on the weather, but generally ranges from a few to a few dozen at most, with fewer observed before and after rain. Please understand that we cannot commit to the number of observations due to the natural environment. All the insects we observed will be released locally, and everyone will be given the same insects that they have captured in the local areas (mainly Ibaraki and Tochigi prefectures). ▼About gathering・Customers by car or on foot: Please come directly to the point at 7:00 pm *Details will be provided only to guests who have made a reservation ▼Dispersal ends around 8:30 pm, and you can return by train (JR) . On the way back, we can pick you up at the nearest station. If you are within walking distance from the station, points will be deducted. Meet at Chofu Station or Fukadai Fureai no Sato and go around 6 spots in the Nogawa River on an electric bicycle (with front and rear child seats, children's bicycles are available in various sizes). The tour lasts 2 hours. In the first half, you will fish for carp and catfish with bread. Even children can easily catch them, but the average size is about 60 cm, so you may not be able to catch them. The pull is strong, so please do your best to catch them. In the second half, if the fishing conditions are not good, you will experience searching the river in waders (free fool boots) or marine shoes. The creatures that can be caught are mainly Japanese mitten crabs, Moroko, Minnows, Japanese chibu, Yoshinobori, loach, Ukigori, black killifish, crayfish, and turtles. You can also take them home. This will be an experience tour where you will use a hammer to break down fallen trees that you have captured in your local forest and your own garden to search for adult (hibernating) stag beetles and larvae. As there is a limit to the number of rotten trees, we will be holding individual events for each family, and depending on the number of rotten trees we have in stock, we will be able to accommodate your request, so we look forward to hearing from you. The trapping time is one hour in your home's garden, followed by explanation, splitting the fallen wood, and searching for fallen wood in the nearby forest (near Fuchu and Chofu). Thank you.
