[Tokyo/Chofu] Open only in the early morning, from 7:00 AM to 9:00 AM. Experience cutting wood using a stag beetle. Adult participation is required. Children are also welcome to participate as they hit it with a hammer.

This tour involves using a hammer to break up rotten wood that has been captured in a nearby forest and in your own garden, and searching for adult stag beetles (hibernating) and larvae. Because the number of rotten wood is limited, we are open to individual family tours and requests are accepted depending on the wood we have in stock. The capture time is one hour in your own garden, followed by an explanation and wood splitting, and then searching for rotten wood in a nearby forest (near Fuchu or Chofu).
