Plan description

Why not observe the world of birds during your free time on your trip? A local guide will show you how to use binoculars (free rental) and give you tips on observation. Anyone who wants to start bird watching can easily participate. After an explanation of how to use the binoculars, you will enjoy bird watching while walking leisurely through the parklands of Lake Yunoko and the Yumoto Onsen area. *You will walk about 3km in the Yumoto Onsen area. *The location may change to Senjogahara or other locations depending on the migratory status of wild birds and the weather. *Explanations about the origins of nature in Oku-Nikko will be included at various points. *In the event of bad weather, the event may be canceled. If you arrive by car

Take the Tohoku Expressway Utsunomiya IC, enter the Nikko Utsunomiya Road (expressway) and get off at Kiyotaki IC. Take National Route 120 to Yumoto for about 40 minutes.

If you arrive by train

Take the bus bound for Yumoto Onsen from JR Nikko Station or Tobu Nikko Station on the Tobu Line. The journey takes about 1 hour and 25 minutes. After getting off at Yumoto Onsen, it is about a 2-minute walk.
