Canoeing and kayaking are popular waterside activities. And in the Sapporo area, which is blessed with water resources such as the Ishikari River, there are many waterfronts that you can get close to. Nonetheless, it may be difficult to play alone, and it may be difficult to assess the risks of playing in nature. This experience is a kind of boat called "inflatable kayak", and you can enjoy rowing a calm river or flat lake surface with a tool called "paddle" with a board called "blade" on both ends. The hull is designed to be inflated with air, so it has excellent mobility and transportability, and when deflated, it becomes smaller than a tent, making it a compact vehicle that can be easily transported even in a passenger car. During the snowy season, you will walk through Shiretoko National Park, a World Heritage Site, on snowshoes. If there is no snow, you will walk without snowshoes. You will walk through natural forests and see waterfalls and giant icicles flowing into the Sea of Okhotsk, and depending on the season, drift ice. You can mainly observe Ezo deer and wild birds. You may also see eagles, woodpeckers, and flying squirrels, which are designated as natural monuments. While driving along the coastline, we will search for the natural monuments, the White-tailed Eagle and the Steller's sea eagle. If you find them, you can observe them with a 25x field scope and 8x binoculars and take photos freely. You may also see Ezo deer and wild birds. It is a canoeing experience of about 8 km on the Kushiro River, which flows through the Kushiro Marsh. The meeting place is JR Senmo Line, Toya Station. This is the most downstream course starting from Hosooka Canoe Port and going down to Iwahogi Floodgate. This area retains the original appearance of the marshland with few trees and many open landscapes. The meandering of the Kushiro River is also the most frequent course. Of course, the guide will ride with you, so please leave the operation of the canoe to us.
