While watching Mandai Sugi (3,000 Year old), Motchomu Taro and a large tree of Sugi, climb the harsh mountain trail where the roots and stones of the tree overlap intricately, and you will reach the Kamiyama Observatory. The altitude here is 979m, which is about 40m higher than the summit of Mt. From here, proceed along the ridge, and finally grab the rope and crawl up to the summit of Mt. Motchomu. The top of the mountain is literally a rocky peak, and the view is the best. You can overlook the town of Hara and Onoaida directly below. If you have a good view, you can see the Tokara Islands far south. In the shade of the rock on the south side of the summit giant rock, there is a shrine for visiting the mountain in the Onoaida area, and you can see that this mountain has a history of being called "Maedake" for visiting the mountain. There is a water place on the way. There is no shade on the top so you need a hat. Also, the wind may be strong at the top, so be sure to bring an extra warm jacket.

Tachudake is located in the north of Yakusugi Land and can be seen from the entrance of Yakusugi Land and the town of Awa.
