Sushikatsu LAB's "Nigirizushi Experience" starts with a VR fishing experience, and then, under the guidance of a sushi chef, you can make authentic sushi using fresh fish. You'll learn how to handle the ingredients and how to make them, grate wasabi, watch a tamagoyaki (rolled omelet) demonstration by a chef, and even enjoy tasting the sushi you've made yourself. This is a program that allows you to experience sushi culture in a casual way, perfect for a break from sightseeing or as a family.

Stroll with your guide around the Cliff Kannon (official name Daifukuji), a rare Kannon temple built on a cliff halfway up a mountain. After enjoying the spectacular view of Tateyama Bay, you will pass through the streets and coastline of Funagata, a town that has long prospered as a fishing town, and visit a local fish shop. Enjoy lunch in a private room at a private restaurant run directly by the fish shop on this short 3-hour course. It's the perfect light activity to do after checking out of your hotel!

What is the "Sushi Making Experience" at Tokyo Sushi School? ■ Learn at a "sushi-specialized school" that produces sushi chefs. At Tokyo Sushi School, instructors with extensive experience as sushi chefs carefully teach everything from the basics to the finer points of nigiri sushi, making it easy for anyone to learn how to make sushi. Sushi made using traditional techniques has an exceptional flavor. ■ Make three servings of sushi using ingredients carefully selected by our chef. Don't underestimate the experience. Choose from tuna, sea bream, white fish, salmon, flounder, blackthroat seaperch, conger eel, shrimp, sweet shrimp, gizzard shad, egg, squid, octopus, ark shell, surf clam, negitoro roll, kappa roll, kanpyo roll, and three types of gunkan. You'll get to make so many different types of sushi. [Who is participating?] There are a variety of reasons for participating. I want to eat sushi I've made myself. I love fishing. I want to make sushi using fish I've caught myself. I want to try making sushi myself. I'm considering enrolling and want to see what the school is like. It's a great workshop to use while traveling. The experience is held on weekdays and Saturdays from 1:30 PM to 3:30 PM. *Only on Saturdays, this course is available for groups of three or more.
