At "Ota Kazuaki Ceramic Art Class", which has a workshop in Hachioji City, we hold a daily ceramic art experience class at any time. You can freely create your favorite works from one person to a group of 20 people. You can choose either hand or electric wheel.

It is a trial plan that you can easily try pottery in about 2 hours. The instructor will advise you on what you need, so first try to make what you want to make freely. If you wish, you can also experience the electric potter's wheel (1,500 yen separately). Children can participate if they are elementary school students more so both adult and children can enjoy. * It takes about one month to one and a half months to complete the work.

This is a hand drill experience plan that even beginners can enjoy. It can be made freely with the sense of clay play. Please make your favorite work not only in a bowl but in your favorite work with the technique called "hand bending", which is made by layering clay in a string form. We will teach you how to make according to the image of the work you want to make. There are about 10 types of soil, about 20 types of glazes (Yuyaku), and many types of materials. The experience is a free time system, so you are welcome to join the pottery class from 13:00 to 18:00 at any time.

We offer a curriculum from beginner to advanced. From hand forming to string making, board making, and electric potter's wheel, we will teach you according to your request. In addition, you can try a wide range of pottery techniques such as anagama kiln practice with firewood, Shino ware, carbonization firing, and coloring. We have about 20 types of clay and more than 20 types of glaze. Even those with long pottery experience should be satisfied. *In the case of an electric potter's wheel, more clay is used, so the fee will be 1,100 yen plus the hand-twisting fee.
