"Ota Kazuaki Ceramic Art Class" is the east Kyoto A long-established ceramic arts class in Hachioji City. Under the active artist who has won many awards at the Ceramic Art Exhibition, you can enjoy ceramic art in a relaxed environment. Born in Ichikawa, Chiba in 1948. Graduated from Waseda University in 1973. 1981 Learned pottery from Mr. Raku Takeda. 1982 Learned pottery from Mr. Kazuhiko Sato. 1983 Built a kiln at home (Hachioji City). 1985 Selected for the first time at the 25th New Traditional Crafts Exhibition. Since then, he has been selected 10 times. 1986 Selected for the 33rd Japan Traditional Crafts Exhibition for the first time. Since then, he has been selected three times. Selected for the Asahi Ceramic Art Exhibition for the first time. After that, he was selected 5 times. 1987 Selected for the 9th Japan Ceramic Art Exhibition for the first time. Since then, he has been selected twice. 1988 Received the 40th Chiba Prefectural Art Exhibition / Prefectural Conference Chairman's Award. Recommended as a member of the Chiba Prefectural Art Association. 1990 Certified as a regular member of the Japan Kogei Association.
