This is a Kyo-yaki and Kiyomizu-yaki pottery experience at Heian Gyokuo Touen. Located on the first floor of Hotel Emion Kyoto in Umekoji, Kyoto, this is open to families, friends, and couples. Using a hand-cranked potter's wheel, you will create a vessel using clay uniquely blended by the potter. The artisans of the Kyo-yaki and Kiyomizu-yaki pottery will provide gentle and careful instruction. A declaration of traditional Japanese craftsmanship! Let's go to Heian Gyokuo Touen!

An electric potter's wheel experience where you concentrate on shaping the spinning clay. Even a slight distortion can cause the shape to collapse, so it's not something you can do quickly or easily. We will provide you with the maximum support, so even beginners can feel free to try pottery. The sense of accomplishment you feel when you finish is wonderful. [Experience flow] ① When the reservation time comes, enter the store and leave your luggage. ② When you sit down, fill in the address of the destination to which the finished product will be sent. ③ Before the experience, please tell the staff "the shape and size of the vessel you want to make". ④ The experience starts. Slowly and carefully stretch the clay vertically. ⑤ Once the clay is firmly stretched thinly, you can freely create any shape you like. (The experience time is approximately 20 minutes) ⑥ Please feel free to ask us to take photos with your smartphone during the experience. ⑦ Your work will be carefully fired by the craftsmen of Zuikogama and delivered to you in one and a half to two months.

This plan is characterized by its short experience time of about 20 minutes (15 minutes for the experience + 5 minutes for writing your address and choosing the color). You can feel free to try it out to make memories between sightseeing.
