Plan description

This is a Kyo-yaki and Kiyomizu-yaki pottery experience at Heian Gyokuo Touen. Located on the first floor of Hotel Emion Kyoto in Umekoji, Kyoto, this is open to families, friends, and couples. Using a hand-cranked potter's wheel, you will create a vessel using clay uniquely blended by the potter. The artisans of the Kyo-yaki and Kiyomizu-yaki pottery will provide gentle and careful instruction. A declaration of traditional Japanese craftsmanship! Let's go to Heian Gyokuo Touen!

You can choose the glaze of your favorite color!

You can choose one of four different colors (glazes). The base carving (ringed base, etc.), bisque firing, glazing, and final firing are all done in our kiln. It will take about 2 to 4 months for the piece to be completed, so please look forward to it.
