This is a Kyo-yaki and Kiyomizu-yaki pottery experience at Heian Gyokuo Touen. Located on the first floor of Hotel Emion Kyoto in Umekoji, Kyoto, this experience is open to families, friends, and couples. You'll use an electric potter's wheel and experience working with a Gyokuo potter. Kyo-yaki and Kiyomizu-yaki artisans will provide gentle and careful instruction. You can choose one of four different colors (glazes). The base carving (ringed base, etc.), bisque firing, glazing, and final firing are all done in our kiln. It will take about 2 to 4 months for the piece to be completed, so please look forward to it.
