After stripping the bark from the tree, Uetsu Shina cloth is made entirely by hand, going through 22 processes over 365 days. The experience of using this precious Shina is unique to this area. Because each strand is a natural fiber with a different expression, it can be made into unique and attractive charms and earrings. It is also nice that the venue is the footbath cafe Chitto Moche, within walking distance of the inn at Atsumi Onsen. After making it, enjoy a relaxing tea time. This is a pearl extraction experience at a pearl farm in Ise-Shima, the birthplace of pearl farming.It's fun to extract the pearls and see what kind of pearls will come out! Pearls come in a variety of sizes, shapes, and colors. You can take out Akoya pearls with a diameter of 6 mm, and if you are lucky, 8 mm in diameter! You can take the removed pearls home with you. You can also make accessories using the pearls.
