"Ko-Iga" is the highest peak of pottery in history, known as "exceptional beauty" in the world of tea ceremony, mainly during the Sengoku period, when Sen no Rikyu, Oda Nobunaga, and Toyotomi Hideyoshi were active, and the Azuchi-Momoyama period. Experience Awaji Iga making, a reproduction of the Ko-Iga making used in tea ceremony at that time, with one-on-one guidance from a craftsman who hand-made the largest six-tiered climbing kiln in Japan. Ko-Iga is fired at the world's highest firing temperature of 1400℃ for several days, which is unparalleled in the world, so the shape is distorted and sometimes it breaks when firewood is repeatedly hit against it, but the absolute presence and scenery that surpasses this are known as exceptional beauty. This small studio is located 4.8km east of the World Heritage site Himeji Castle, a 15-minute drive away. Why not try a pottery experience in between sightseeing? Just by living, people accumulate dirt and impurities at the end of each day. It would be nice if we could wash them off ourselves every day, but for busy modern people, it is not easy. Mount Koya, which spreads out in a mountain basin surrounded by peaks at an altitude of about 1,000m, is a sacred place of Shingon Esoteric Buddhism founded by Kobo Daishi Kukai 1,200 years ago. This plan involves climbing together to the top of Benten-dake, the watershed of Mount Koya, and performing a purification and purification prayer in front of the shrine. (Depending on the weather, etc., it may be performed at a different shrine.) A special human figure will be prepared. Usually, the Great Purification is performed at the end of June and the end of December, but for our purification and purification plan, a specialized prayer leader will be available all year round when visitors are in a good mood. Nokogiriyama is known as a lesser known mountain on the Boso Peninsula. With its jagged ridgeline resembling the teeth of a saw, and the remains of the quarry where Boso stone was quarried by the stone-cutting industry until the Showa era, it looks like an abandoned building, and this otherworldly space that appears in the middle of nature has become popular. On this tour, you will pass through the streets of Kanaya, which once flourished as a stone-cutting industry, and climb the "Sharikko Road," a road that once transported quarried stone, with a guide. While enjoying the climb, which is low above sea level but has a large elevation difference, you will feel the breath of the craftsmen of the time, and trace the history of how Boso stone supported Japan's modernization and declined over time.

At Mitsuishi Fudoson, a traditional esoteric Buddhist temple that worships the waterfall where Kobo Daishi trained at the age of 21, we will practice rituals at the goma and make our wishes come true. In 1868, the clan declined the invitation from the Meiji Government and became independent. We are the only lasting shinobi clan in Japan. We invite you to come to our clan dojo where real master practitioner and professional interpreters take charge of all workshops and seminars. This is good for people who want to get a deeper insight into our ninja and samurai cultures . We still handcraft our tools and weapons. Join this 2-hours experience and learn KYUDO, Japanese archery martial art.Don a traditional beautiful KYUDO uniform, channel your inner samurai. and challenge for the target!Usually when the beginner take up KYUDO in earnest, it takes several months of practice before they are allowed to actually shoot at a target.However, this class lets you go straight into action.But please understand that you are required to practice basic training for 1 hour and basic manners, before you shoot at a target.I will guide you through every step to help you hit the target.Not everyone can hit the target, even people who training over 10 years.There's more to kyudo than hitting the target; performing these fundamental movements correctly is also considered important.Caution: We have some facilities to deal with this experience, depend on the date.Then after reservation, please be careful.
