Located in the northeastern part of Kakegawa City, which is one of the most popular tea producing areas in Shizuoka, the tea plantation spreads over the hills at the foot of Awagadake, which is loved locally as a mountain of tea characters, and has been designated as a Globally Important Agricultural Heritage Site. We have been making high-quality tea using the traditional tea-grass farming method for over 150 years, and in this plan, you can enjoy the tea-picking experience in the tea plantations that the producers make with great care. The first tea is from late April to mid-May, the second tea is from June, and the fourth tea is from late September to early October, which is the tea season for producers and you can enjoy tea picking at that time. In addition, you can enjoy tea picking depending on the growth of tea leaves at other times, so please ask until mid-November. For lunch, we will prepare dishes unique to the tea-producing region using the tea leaves that were actually piled up. It was my first time trying hand weaving with a handloom, and I absolutely loved the process!
