It is a canoeing experience on the Arekinai River, a tributary that flows through the Kushiro Marsh. The meeting place is JR Senmo Line, in front of Toro Station. The course starts from a lake called Lake Toro, goes to the Arekinai River, goes to the main stream of the Kushiro River, goes up the Arekinai River by canoe, and returns to Lake Toro. Because it is a calm river, you can go up the river, and even those who are new to canoeing can experience it with peace of mind. The river does not freeze even in winter, so you can experience canoeing throughout the year. The scenery that changes according to the season, and the Yezo deer, white-tailed eagles, and red-crowned cranes that you can meet if your timing and luck are good are also highlights. Of course, the guide will ride with you, so please leave the operation of the canoe to us. This course runs through the Kushiro Wetlands, and starts from Hosooka Station on a wide, calm river, all the way to Iwahoki Sluice Gate, where you can feel the wind blowing through the wetlands as you leisurely descend. Basically, you won't get wet, so it's okay if you come in clothes that are suitable for the climate and easy to move in. *This is a short course.

It is a canoeing experience of about 17 kilometers on the Kushiro River, which flows through the Kushiro Marsh. The meeting place is JR Senmo Line, Toya Station. It is a long course to enjoy the marshlands from Lake Toro to Hosooka Canoe Port to Iwahogi Floodgate. The first half is a forest course with many trees even in the wetlands. In the second half, there are few trees in the marshland, and the original appearance of the marshland remains with many open landscapes. There is also a toilet break at Hosooka Canoe Port on the way. Recommended for those who want to enjoy the wetlands for a long time. Of course, the guide will ride with you, so please leave it to those who are not confident in the operation and physical strength of the canoe. 〜Experience Flow〜 (For the 5:00 course) Meet at 5:00 JR Senmo Line Toya Station Please be at Toya Station at the start time of the tour. Since Hosooka Station is nearby, we will take a restroom break here. 8:00 Second half start! The second half is about 8 km. From Hosooka Canoe Port to Iwahogi Water Gate. 9:20 Arrive at Iwahogi Water Gate! While the canoe is being put away, I will have you look at the marsh from a little higher ground. 10:00 Move from Iwahogi Water Gate to Toya Station and disband.

It is a canoe experience of about 9 kilometers on the Kushiro River, which flows through the Kushiro Marsh. The meeting place is JR Senmo Line, Hosooka Station. This course starts from Lake Toro and goes down to Hosooka Canoe Port. As the name of the plan suggests, it is a place with a lot of trees even in the wetlands, and it is a course with the most wild animals. It is surrounded by deep green in spring, green in summer, and colored leaves in autumn. Of course, the guide will ride with you, so please leave the operation of the canoe to us. We also have a Kushiro Wetland long course of about 17 km that combines the forest course and the wilderness course! ~Experience Flow~ (For the 8:00 course) 8:00 Gather in front of Hosooka Station on the JR Senmo Line Please be at Hosooka Station at the start time of the tour. This area retains the original appearance of the marshland with few trees and many open landscapes. The meandering of the Kushiro River is also the most frequent course. Canoeing and ice play in the pure white Kushiro Marsh under the 946 blue sky. This is your chance to encounter the fantastic Kushiro Marsh!!! The field is the "Alekinei River", a tributary of the Kushiro River that flows through Kushiro Marsh National Park, and "Lake Toroko", the largest lake in the Kushiro Marsh. The canoeing starts from Lake Toroko and takes about 60 minutes of river watching, going back and forth on the Alekinei River. The narrow and shallow Alekinei River is the perfect spot to find wild animals and winter wonders. Enjoy the delicate winter objects that can only be seen by canoeing and the silence that can only be experienced by canoeing. After canoeing, you can experience drilling holes in the ice on the lake?!?! A guide will guide you through an experience that can only be done in winter. * Round-trip transportation is available from near Kushiro Station. You can participate without worrying about snowy roads. * A guide will accompany you, so even first-timers can experience it with peace of mind. *The canoe will go back and forth between Lake Toro and the Arekinai River (it will not enter the main stream of the Kushiro River). *As this will be an experience in a shallow river, dry suits will not be required.
