The instructor is a master certified by the Japan Educational Calligraphy Federation, so he can give qualified advice. It will be held in the Ginza/Tsukiji area, so you can participate before or after strolling through Ginza or enjoying the Tsukiji restaurant district. This is a private tour with a maximum of 6 participants, and you can set the start time according to your convenience without worrying about other groups. This is an experiential tour where you will experience calligraphy, one of Japan's proud artistic cultures, and create two works of art. Each participant will receive a piece of work created by our instructor. Original and not a print. The type to display on your desk comes with a frame as shown in the photo. Larger types are available only in kind. You will practice how to hold a brush, basic vertical lines, horizontal lines, sweeps, dots, etc., and we will create two works of art that you can display in your home. One will be a large piece to hang on the wall, and one will be a small piece to hang on a desk or table. The instructor is a master calligrapher and professional calligrapher certified by the Japan Educational Calligraphy Federation, and the host of the calligraphy class. Please join us on this experiential tour where you can experience calligraphy, create your own work, and even get professional work. The venue will be a rental conference room near Higashi Ginza Station.

The room is a Japanese-style room with tatami mats, but you can choose to practice calligraphy at a table with a Terakoya desk and chair in seiza. Let's enjoy experiences that you can't usually have, from practicing on Hanshi paper to creating works on colored paper and postcards! ~Experience flow~ ①Explanation of the experience plan and hearing. (5 minutes) While drinking tea, we will ask you about today's plan. ②The teacher will create a sample. (5 minutes) The teacher will write a sample of the desired calligraphy style and decide the activity content. ③Start practicing on Hannsi (Japanese calligraphy paper) (20 minutes) You will practice freely while adding explanations of brushes and kanji. Even if it's your first time, you can practice as many sheets as you like with free expression. ④A lecture before finishing the final work and an explanation of the points to finish the work. (10 minutes) If you would like to do a large-scale wall calligraphy performance, we will hold a first trial performance. If you wish, we will hold a lecture before finishing your work, such as making Shikishi (traditional Japanese square paper), postcards, or Sensu (traditional Japanese holding fan). After that, you can practice on special paper. Enjoy free expression. ⑤ Completion of the work and a commemorative photo. The finished work will be stamped with a finishing seal, and you will be given a commemorative photo and a digital video upon request. *We can also set a "time extension" for the leisurely time upon request. In a small conference room, you will experience the basic techniques of calligraphy under the guidance of an instructor. You will finish by creating 1-2 pieces of work that you can display at home. After the calligraphy experience, you will walk around Oyama Shopping Street, which is 1.2 km long and has over 300 shops and restaurants, and have lunch. Transfer to the train and bus to the Akatsuka area. You will visit the Tokyo Great Buddha, Akatsuka Fudo Waterfall, Akatsuka Botanical Garden, Itabashi Museum of Art, Akatsuka Castle Ruins, and Itabashi Local Museum.

Let's learn the bushido and experience the samurai spirit.What is the most important thing for a samurai? Wearing hakama, sandals, and a sword, and learning etiquette, manners, and kata. We call it the BUSHIDO sign.Next, as a BUSHIDO LEARN, you will experience the weight and sharpness of a real Japanese sword. We will learn the basics of swordsmanship (Battou and Nattou).We will take a break with SAMURAI TEA on the way. You will be entertained at a tea ceremony, as samurai risked their lives to "entertain" and "be entertained".Before participating in the final battle of the Warring States Period, the Battle of Osaka, the participants are asked to prepare for death and reflect on their own lives, writing their last words with a large brush on every piece of paper. This is called Deathbed calligraphy.At last, he puts on his armor and helmet to become a bushido master and goes to battle at the castle of Osaka to gain military merit in the battle of Osaka. However, when the defeat was imminent, the samurai, for the sake of honor, would not suffer the shame of the noose, even if they lost the battle, but would die by harakiri or cutting their belly before being captured.

Whether you are a beginner or an experienced calligrapher, you can create memories of your trip by performing calligraphy on a wall (2m long x 3m wide), which you can't usually write on. Experience the wabi-sabi that disappears in 15 minutes. It is a Japanese-style room with tatami mats, but you can choose to practice on calligraphy paper at a Terakoya desk and chair while sitting upright.
