Hinohara Village is the only village on land in Tokyo. Deep inside the village, on a ridge well over 700m above sea level, lies the old house "Kyu Kobayashi Family Residence". Built in the mid-Edo period (more than 320 years ago), this mountain house is literally an "old house in the sky". This tour, which takes you there by mountain monorail that goes straight up a super steep slope of nearly 45 degrees, is an extremely extraordinary experience that will leave a deep impression on your memory, both geographically and historically, as well as physically. At Asakusa Aiwafuku, we are particular about how to dress in a masculine kimono so that men can wear it in the most stylish way in Asakusa. There are two points to keep in mind for this. 1. The length of a man's kimono The beauty of a man's kimono is determined by its length. It is said that a stylish kimono should be "long enough that the hem just covers the ankles when the obi is tied." We have a wide selection of men's kimono sizes, from S, M, L, 2L, 3L, 4L, and 5L. It can also be worn by people with a sturdy build, such as rugby players, who are over 180 cm tall. We also accommodate small people who are 150 cm tall. 2. Stand out from the crowd with a men's haori. (We cannot rent haori in the summer because we provide yukata.) Men's haori looks twice as cool when combined with a kimono. Asakusa Aiwafuku has a wide selection of patterned haori, which is very popular among fashion-conscious people. ★We offer a yukata rental experience for a limited time from mid-June to mid-September.
