This is a course that can be enjoyed by both beginners and experienced climbers. The name of the falls means eight consecutive waterfalls and pools, and as the name suggests, there are eight waterfalls, starting from downstream: Uodome, Shoji, Karato, O-suribachi, Ko-suribachi, Byobu, Kibune, and Shichiben-gaeshi. You will climb the true core of the waterfalls, which cannot be seen from the hiking trail. This is not for beginners. You will be using your whole body to climb.
Yatsubuchinotaki is the only waterfall in Shiga Prefecture that has been selected as one of the 100 best waterfalls in Japan. It was previously a hidden waterfall known only to those who climbed Mt. Hira. We will climb to the true core of the waterfalls, which cannot be seen from the hiking trail.

Please wait at the second parking lot in Gulliver Youth Travel Village, 987-1 Shishiga, Takashima City, Shiga Prefecture. A vehicle from Shizenha Kikaku will come to you.
From Meishin Kyoto Higashi IC, head north on National Route 161 via Kosai Road and enter Takashima City, where you will see signs for Gulliver's Travel Village and Yabuchi Falls.
