[Tottori Geopark] Relaxing SUP experience in the clear sea and lakes ♪ A safe plan with a guide at San'in Coast Geopark

Surrounded by the beautiful nature of the San'in Coast Geopark, this is a SUP (Stand Up Paddle Board) experience to enjoy in the crystal clear ocean and calm lake. A certified instructor (SUPA) will accompany you as your guide, so even beginners can participate with confidence. On calm days, the experience will be held at places such as Iwato Beach and Otani Beach, which have excellent transparency, and on days with strong waves or wind, it will be changed to calm inland waters such as Tanamaike Pond and Koyama Pond. The best field is selected according to the weather and sea conditions, so you can have a comfortable and safe water experience. The duration is about 3 hours. You can choose from three start times per day (9:30/12:30/15:30), and the capacity is a small group of up to 6 people, so you can enjoy it at a relaxed pace. Participants can range from children aged 3 to 80 years old, and it is recommended for a wide range of people, from families, couples, friends, student groups, coworkers, and individuals. You can either enjoy floating leisurely on the water and feel the nature, or take on a little challenge with the help of a guide. Everyone has their own way of enjoying SUP. You will be guided by a certified instructor from SUPA (Japan Stand Up Paddle Board Association). There is an easy-to-understand lecture even for beginners, so even those who have never tried SUP before can participate with confidence. Children from 3 years old can participate, so it is popular with families. Depending on the level of the participant, you will be carefully instructed on how to handle the board and how to use the paddle. It can also be held on a lake or pond, so there is less worry about wind and waves, and an environment is prepared for you to enjoy it with peace of mind.

The experience takes place in the San'in Coast Geopark, a world-class geological site. Depending on the weather, the location may be flexibly selected, such as the highly transparent Iwato Coast, Otani Coast, Tanamagaike Pond, or Koyama Pond. The attraction is the freedom to spend your time however you like, whether that be sitting on your SUP and drifting leisurely, lying down and looking up at the sky, or taking photos. Even if you don't have any special skills, you can enjoy this elegant water experience that will make you feel like you're in the middle of the everyday.
