Plan description

Schedule for the day of the course: 17:00 departure (meet at 16:50) - Fill out the registration application form, medical history and medical certificate, self-check for health on the day, prepare rental equipment, and adjust sizing. *Times may vary depending on the season. 17:15 - Depart Ishigakijima Port. Explain the vessel to be used, points to note when sailing, points to note about the course, and the schedule. Depart after 18:00 - Get used to the water and equipment, get used to breathing. Demonstrate explanations of snorkeling masks, snorkels, wetsuits, fins, etc. An instructor holding a life jacket will snorkel with you. You must wear a flotation device (wetsuit). 19:20 - Second snorkeling session. After an explanation of how to use the underwater light and points to note, head out to the night sea. 20:30 - Stargazing night cruise. On the way back, the boat slowly cruises under the starry sky. 21:00 - Return to Ishigakijima Port. Return to Ishigakijima Port. Disbandment.

You can observe the ever-changing daily life from on board the boat or from the water surface.

Unlike the daytime tour, this tour offers a unique experience, from watching the sunset over the vast ocean to a starry sky. The night ocean, which closes 12 hours of the day, offers a completely different underwater world than the daytime. Set sail before sunset to watch the sun sink into the horizon, and if you're lucky, you might even see a green flash. Entering the ocean at night, you'll encounter the fish that were abundant during the day, as well as the fish that sleep in unique poses. You'll encounter nocturnal creatures like shrimp and crabs, and if you hold an underwater light up with your hand, you'll see a plethora of bioluminescent plankton! Their sparkling lights have never been captured on camera before, making this a mystical sight that can only be seen with the naked eye. If you time the tide and the season just right, you can even observe coral spawning, and there are plenty of other highlights to discover. Experience the mysteries of the ocean and enjoy exciting snorkeling. Your guide will accompany you in small groups, and you'll be well-equipped for a safe and enjoyable nighttime experience. On the way back, the boat will sail slowly, cruising under a starry sky. Standing on the silent sea at night, you will look up at the sky and be moved by the overwhelming brilliance of the stars.

Green flash? Noctiluca? Enjoy a 360° view of the starry sky from a dedicated stargazing boat!

Ishigaki Island is also known as the "Star Island" because it is the most beautiful place in Japan to view the starry sky. All 21 first magnitude stars can be seen, and 84 of the 88 constellations can be seen, as well as the Southern Cross and Milky Way depending on the season, making it the perfect place for stargazing.

It's only a 30-second walk from the store to the boat you'll be using, and there's no need to provide information on the rental size of participants, which significantly reduces the burden on organizers.

The boat boarding point is just a 30-second walk from the store, and the Euglena Ishigaki Port Remote Island Terminal is just a 5-minute walk away, so you can park your car in the free parking lot and head out to the remote islands. There's also a wide selection of clean rental equipment, and since you can adjust the size when you meet up, there's no need to gather information on rental sizes for participants.
