If you choose the hot spring, we will take you to the day trip hot spring facility "Konohana no Yu", which opened at the end of 2019. The name "Konohana no Yu" comes from the goddess "Konohana Sakuyahime" enshrined at Mt. Fuji and Fuji Sengen Taisha Shrine. It features an overwhelming view of Mt. Fuji, high-quality hot springs from its own source, and 19 private open-air baths. It also has a Japanese-modern restaurant "Dining Hanagoromo" with a panoramic view of Mt. Fuji. ▼Gotemba Outlet (about 2 hours) We will not go to the hot spring. This outlet center has about 290 popular domestic and international brands and restaurants on a vast site with a view of Mt. Fuji. There is also a mini amusement park and day trip hot spring on the premises, so you can enjoy your stay all day.
Owakudani was formed by a volcanic eruption over 3000 years ago, and is a volcanic valley with active sulfurous gas and hot springs. Owakudani is one of the most popular tourist spots in Hakone, attracting many visitors with its volcanic activity and breathtaking scenery. On a clear day, you can also see the majestic Mount Fuji. It takes about a 10-minute walk from the ropeway station to reach the epicenter of volcanic activity. Here, you can see steam erupting and the boiling kettle up close. You can also purchase hard-boiled eggs cooked in volcanic hot springs. It is said that eating these black eggs, whose shells have turned pitch black due to a chemical reaction with the hot springs, will extend your life by seven years.
Lake Ashi, quietly nestled in the heart of Hakone, is a lake formed in a caldera that was created after Mount Hakone erupted 3000 years ago. It is famous for its impressive mountain views. Lake Ashi, which can be seen on a clear day, is a must-see when visiting Hakone. Hakone is home to many tourist attractions, and a popular photo spot is the red "Peace Torii" that floats on the lake. Many people, including foreign tourists, visit the lake every day.
