[Chitose River Rafting] About 20 minutes by car from New Chitose Airport, there is such a rich nature in such a place... This is what you will think. You will go down the Chitose River with a guide while watching the fish peeking out of the crystal clear water and the small birds flying through the trees. We will talk about many things such as Hokkaido's wildlife and vegetation, Ainu culture and the history of development while enjoying the breeze of nature! [A boat tour with excellent stability!] <Standard course> River touring of about 5.5 km from the meeting point, Daiichi Usakumai Bridge, to under the expressway overpass! Since you will go down in a wide rafting boat, there is almost no risk of capsizing! You can stop the boat along the way to look for creatures, or you can cool off by putting your feet in the river and going down the river. Enjoy the beautiful Chitose River with peace of mind! The boat will be steered by a safe and secure guide, so it is especially recommended for those who are worried about river rafting, families with children, and those who want to take their time taking photos! In addition, the boat can accommodate up to 7 adults, or 8 people if you include children, making it a great way to make some great memories! As of 2024, this is a course where you can fully enjoy Lake Shikotsu, which boasts the second highest transparency in Japan, and the Chitose River that flows out of it. Assembly point

Daiichiusakumaibashi Bridge *There is a parking space beside the bridge and a public toilet nearby. Please be careful as the road becomes gravel a few hundred meters before the meeting point. We will pick you up from the finish point to the starting point (meeting point).

If you arrive by car

About 20 minutes from New Chitose Airport. Free parking space available. 20 parking spaces available. Large buses: allowed.

If you arrive by train

Take the bus (Shikotsuko Line) from JR Chitose Station, get off at "Chitose Katsura Hospital Mae" and walk for about 20 minutes. * Most of the walking distance is a promenade, so you can enjoy a stroll to get there.

If you arrive by other means of transportation

For those taking a taxi to the meeting point: Approximately 15 minutes from JR Chitose Station (estimated fare: 2,000 to 3,000 yen) Approximately 20 minutes from New Chitose Airport (estimated fare: 3,500 to 4,500 yen)

I have been a guide for 7 years in the sacred place of canoeing, the source of the Kushiro River and the Kushiro Marshland. (I still guide tours on the Kushiro River every year!) Our experienced guides will introduce you to nature in a safe and fun way, using their skillful boat handling techniques while clearly informing you of dangerous areas and cautions.
