Yamamoto Honke, located in Gojo City, Nara Prefecture, is a sake brewery that represents Nara and was founded in 1710. The characteristic of Yamamoto Honke is definitely their persimmon wine. In Nara Prefecture, persimmons are the largest producer of fruit in the prefecture, and the second largest producer in the country. We produce wine using these persimmons. The raw materials are almost 100% Fuyu persimmons, except for the addition of sugar and a little water, and no alcohol is used at all.
