We carefully select and grow "Shinjuhime," which is particularly sweet and fragrant among white strawberries. It is the offspring of the "Momo-kaoru" variety, which is famous for its peach scent, and is characterized by a peach flavor and sweetness that makes it hard to believe it is a strawberry. Since "Momo-kaoru" is a pink strawberry, it is no exaggeration to call "Shinjuhime" "pure white peach scent." The skin and seeds are white, so the whiteness stands out even among the varieties called white strawberries. It is characterized by its sweetness and strong fragrance, which can be compared to the nuances of ripe fresh peaches, yellow peaches in syrup, and lychees. Since it is a new variety that has just been born, only three producers nationwide are cultivating it. This is a pick-and-seek strawberry picking, so you can pick your own 150g pack of strawberries. The strawberry picking house is located in a plateau at an altitude of 1,000m, so the temperature difference between day and night creates strawberries with a rich flavor. Although the harvest is reduced by the time-consuming manual bud picking (thinning), we are devising ways to create strawberries with a rich flavor that you have never tasted before with our craftsmanship. Please enjoy this moving experience that can only be experienced in Karuizawa to your heart's content. All strawberry houses are grown in clean elevated cultivation, making picking easy. It is about a 10-minute drive from Nakakaruizawa Station, in the Firefly Village, which has a great view and is surrounded by the majestic Mount Asama.
