After receiving your Shinkansen ticket and travel guide from the staff at the meeting place, Tokyo Station, you can start your trip freely. The Hokuriku Shinkansen is comfortable and punctual, so you will arrive at Karuizawa Station in just over an hour. After enjoying shopping and gourmet food, you can board the Shinkansen at your preferred time and arrive at Tokyo Station in just over an hour, so you can enjoy dinner in Tokyo! ~ Flow of the day ~ ① 8:20 Meeting: Near the ticket gate at Yaesu North Exit of Tokyo Station A staff member holding a Japan Burari Trip flag will be waiting for you. You will be given your Shinkansen ticket and guide, and a brief explanation will be given. (Please note that the explanation from the staff at Tokyo Station and the written guide of the plan that you will be given will be in English only.) ② Please board the Hokuriku Shinkansen. Please board the Shinkansen at the specified time. If you are unable to get a reserved seat, you can board the Shinkansen at any time you like. ③ Arrive at Karuizawa Station. Pick up your Sawaya jam at the station. Present the electronic coupon obtained by the QR code given to you at the time of departure to receive your Sawaya jam. The pick-up location will be explained in the guidebook given to you on the day. ④ Enjoy shopping and gourmet food! Karuizawa Prince Shopping Park is a 3-minute walk from the south exit. The Kyu-Karuizawa area is a 20-minute walk. Take a stroll around Karuizawa! ⑤ Walk to Karuizawa Station. Return in time for the Shinkansen. ⑥ Take the Hokuriku Shinkansen to Tokyo. This plan provides a Shinkansen seat on a basic basis. The approximate departure times are 9:00-10:00 Shinkansen for outbound travel, and 15:00-16:00 Shinkansen for return travel. Shinkansen reserved seats go on sale one month in advance, so please wait until then to see if your reservation is available. As this is a popular route, if a reserved seat is not available, you will be provided with a non-reserved seat.
