While laborious manual thinning reduces yields, our artisanal techniques allow us to create the most flavorful strawberries you'll ever taste. Enjoy this experience, unique to Karuizawa. All strawberry greenhouses are grown in clean elevated greenhouses, making picking easy. Located about a 15-minute drive from Karuizawa Station, our farm is nestled in the majestic Mount Asama in the Firefly Village, a place with a commanding view. ▼Introduction to Main Target Varieties▼・Kaorino: In the cold climate of Karuizawa, these strawberries ripen slowly, enveloped in a vanilla-like fragrance, making them almost like drinking strawberry juice. ・Yotsuboshi: Our Yotsuboshi strawberries not only boast a rich, excellent triple threat of sweetness, acidity, and fragrance, but also grow into beautiful, perfectly shaped fruits. ・Yayoihime: At their peak, they are the sweetest of all varieties and boast a delightfully large fruit. ・Shinku no Misuzu (Black Strawberry): These strawberries boast a rich flavor, reminiscent of tropical passion fruit and banana, with a melting sweetness and unique fragrance not found in other strawberries. The darker the color, the richer the flavor. ・Shinjuhime (White Strawberry): A new strawberry developed from the famous "Momo-kaoru" variety, known for its peach aroma.
