**Satsuma Kiriko** refers to cut glass products made in Kagoshima Prefecture. The history of Satsuma Kiriko dates back to the 1840s, when Narioki Shimazu, the 26th lord of the Satsuma Domain, started glass manufacturing in Kagoshima. Currently, small items such as pierced earrings, key holders, and accessories are sold using waste materials generated in the manufacturing process of Satsuma Kiriko. This is an activity where you can learn about the history of Satsuma Kiriko!
