While snorkeling, you can enjoy the underwater view of Lake Shikotsu, and warm up in a tent sauna to refresh your mind and body. The tent sauna is made by Russian brand "MORZH MAX"! Fallen trees from Lake Shikotsu are used for firewood! It's a sustainable and eco-friendly activity♪ You can also enjoy loyly with sauna stones♪ As it is a guided experience, even beginners can enjoy it with peace of mind. Hokkaido, which has different faces in each season, Lake Shikotsu teaches us the nature as it is. Sauna & snorkel experience in the middle of nature ~ Refresh your body and mind♪ ★Limited to Lake Shikotsu area businesses★ Established over 100 years ago! We will give you a half-price ticket to "Marukoma Onsen"! (Reception closes between 10:00 and 14:00) * Closed on Tuesdays and Wednesdays * After June 1, 2025, reception will only be available on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays "Mizu no Uta" day trip hot spring bathing ticket (15:00-19:00: 1,500 yen/person) * Please ask a staff member if you wish to take a bath * This is a bathing facility located right next to our store * Both stores are only available on the day
Please enter Marukoma Onsen by 2pm for day trip bathing. Please ask a staff member and we will give you a ticket. (Please note that you will not be able to enter after 2pm.) The "Kyuka Mura" facility also has a day trip hot spring. (Last admission is at 3pm, please check the day of the week.)
In spring, the thaw begins and new water flows into Lake Shikotsu. Underwater, the transparency exceeds 30 meters, and the fish return to the shore. In the summer, the white flowers and aquatic plants of the natural monument Chitose Baikamo grow, and when there are many fish, a school of 1000 can be seen. Kokanee spawning begins in autumn, and you can see Kokanee dyed in the color of marriage. Winter is a season of outstanding transparency, sometimes up to 30 meters below.
