Plan description

The first sea kayak (a wide variety of sea kayaks are available) Lake Chuzenji is located in Nikko National Park and is a dammed lake created by the eruption of Mt. Nantai 20,000 years ago. It is the highest lake in Japan with a circumference of about 24km, an area of 11.62km2, a maximum depth of 172m, a lake surface altitude of 1269m, and an area of 4km2 or more excluding artificial lakes. Because of this environment, the scenery of the four seasons, the magnificent view of Mt. Nantai from the lake, and the clear blue lake water are exceptional, and it is a world that I long for even if I am not a kayaker. Some people may want to ride a sea kayak but are scared of the sea, but you can try sea kayaking on the lake. It is a project where you can fully enjoy the nature of Lake Chuzenji in Oku-Nikko in one day. The Nikko Nasu Outdoor Service / Tochigi Kayak Center, which puts safety and security first, has thoroughly managed risks and has been updating the kayak tour accident-free record since its opening.

Lake Chuzenji, which is rich in nature, can enjoy the scenery of each season. Once you get used to canoeing, you will be impressed if you go a little offshore and look at the magnificent Mt. Nantai. Enjoy nature from the surface of the lake, from fresh green to autumn leaves.

"Zeitaku" time

Once you get used to canoeing, you can have a canoe picnic on the shore of a lake full of nature. If you go a little offshore, you can see Mt. Nantai towering in front of you. Even in the season of autumn leaves, the lake surface is reserved, and we propose a way to spend "zeitaku" time.
