Plan description

Ride past rice-fields, visit temples and taste local flavours - under the cherry blossoms!

Tour Highlights:
✔ Ride through the picturesque Japanese countryside in Spring
✔ Visit beautiful local temples and temple cafes!
✔ Enjoy a 'hanami' (flower viewing) picnic under the blossoms
✔ Includes Japanese style 'Obento' lunch and cafe dessert

Forget fighting other travelers in crowded parks to catch a glimpse of Japan’s fabled cherry blossoms!

Jump on your bike and head out into the fresh air and open rice-fields of the countryside.

Follow your guide along cherry-blossom tree lined roads on the banks of northern Japan’s longest river, the Kitakami River. Be welcomed by towering red Torii gates that lead to picturesque local temples, and call in to check out the grounds and take a break. Back on your bike, your next destination is one of several local favourite ‘hanami’ (flower viewing) locations where you’ll enjoy a picnic just like the locals – with a delicious Japanese-style ‘Obento’ (lunch box). To fuel your energy for the last leg of the journey, stop by a unique cafe inside a temple and catch your breath over some tea or coffee and a Japanese dessert!

Make your Spring in Japan experience an active one!
