It is a plan to decorate the lacquerware with a golden decoration using a technique called “Maki-e”. There are 3 types of courses Time required About 1 hour to 1 hour 30 minutes. A course that you can choose from 7 types of accessories, B course that you can choose from 4 types that are slightly larger, such as coffee cups, C course of Marubon. A jet-black bowl made of gold powder is luxuriously finished. "Taki-e" paints patterns using lacquer (using synthetic neo-lacquer in the experience), and sprinkles and adheres a gold powder just before lacquer dries. Then the pattern appears in gold. Because I draw gold powder and I draw a picture, "Takae". It is said that holding a lacquer work lacquerware was a symbol of richness for the Heian nobles.
