In Oku-Nikko, there are researchers and temple priests who talk about the history of their hometown in a funny way. If you are interested in the hidden historical anecdote story, please feel free to contact us.
Although I am originally from Nikko City, when I was just starting out, I was shocked to find out that I didn't know anything about the local area. After that, I became addicted to mountain climbing through various encounters, and began to go on expeditions not only to the mountains of Nikko, but also to the Northern Alps and other mountain regions. My favorite mountains are Mt. Nikko Shirane and Mt. Taro in the Nikko mountain range. I especially like the view looking back at Oku-Nikko from around Mt. Shirane during the snowy season. Nikko is home to many challenging mountains to climb, including Mt. Nikko Shirane, one of the 100 Famous Mountains, and Mt. Nantai, as well as many hiking trails with great changes in scenery. It was 2001 when I started working as a guide in Oku-Nikko, which had been wandering around since 1989. Including the experience before that, the guide calendar is more than 20 years. We will tell you about the nature of Oku-Nikko through nature observers, especially wild birds and amphibians, which are usually interesting if they move. Originally from Kanagawa Prefecture, he has lived in Nikko City since joining the company. When I was four years old, I became interested in insects because I found a seven-spotted ladybug in my grandparents' mandarin orange field in Higashiizu, and I studied entomology in college. If you're grinning at an insect, please ask, "Is that kind of insect interesting?" ? (Laughs) ・・・ This alone seems to be devoted to insects, but I usually guide you through various places in Oku-Nikko in each season with a wide range of explanations and experiences. The downside is fear of heights. I can't overcome this...Nikko National Park Nature Guide Association Registered Guide Nikko Nature Guide Liaison Committee Member of Wilderness First Aid Course
Maybe it's because I pursued the ecology of living things at university, but I like to think about "why?" and "how?" Why are the new branches red? How did this lake form? I am working hard every day to make my customers aware of the depth that I have felt with my five senses and the fun that I have learned through thinking and researching the great nature of Oku-Nikko, which is my field of activity and teacher. Let's look and think with me, and enjoy nature without thinking sometimes. Born in Itabashi Ward, Tokyo. I like to observe the small plants that live quietly in the city while taking a walk, and before I knew it, I also loved spending time in nature. I will do my best to guide you so that you can enjoy the great nature of Oku-Nikko with everyone, while paying attention to the small world in the wide nature, such as your feet and shadows that you usually do not care about (I am a little afraid of insects...). Born in Niigata prefecture. Originally an indoor person who likes reading manga and books. By chance, I fell in love with the charm of nature (especially plants), and have continued to this day. I also like the beautiful flowering season, but I also really like observing the differences in the shape and dispersal of seeds depending on the plant. The nature of Oku-Nikko is full of surprises every day! I would like to guide you while feeling "interesting!", "fun!", and "I see!" together with everyone.
