直前に予定を変更することになってしまいましたが、柔軟に対応してくださって、予定より2日遅れて参加できました。
本当に一つ一つ丁寧に教えてくださったので、4歳の次男も、泳げない親二人もすぐに慣れて、初めてのシュノーケルを楽しむことができました。
ウミガメが大好きで、将来の夢はウミガメの飼育員さんという次男のために今回参加しましたが、ウミガメを見つけた瞬間は次男だけでなく、家族全員感動しました。
思った以上に近くて、もう少しで手が届きそうな距離からゆっくり観察したり、一緒に泳ぐことができて、また、他にもたくさんのお魚と触れ合うことができて、大満足でした。
インストラクターのたっくんはとても気さくな方で、説明も分かりやすくて、子どもたちにも優しく話しかけてくださって、ウミガメに会えたときは「夢が叶ったね！」と一緒に喜んでくださいました。
私たち家族にとって、忘れられない一日になりました。

We are committed to keeping groups small so that we can provide proper support to each individual. (One group is about 10 people. We increase the number of support guides depending on the group size and age.) With the professional guides keeping a close eye on you, tension will ease and you will naturally relax. We aim for this tour to have you returning from the sea with a smile saying, "It was fun!"
"Is my child okay?" "My grandmother is with us too..." Our qualified and experienced professional guides will carefully listen to the concerns of families and provide a bright and positive response. Their bright and positive response will create a "comfortable" feeling even before you head to the beach. They will always be there to support you during the tour, offering a voice of encouragement and making sure you can enjoy the tour with a sense of security and safety.
Each participant receives a customized "Package" of equipment (mask, snorkel, marine shoes, fins, gloves, wetsuit, and life jacket). Boot sizes range from 15 to 32 cm, and wetsuits are available for heights from 90 to 200 cm and weights from 14 to 130 kg. Wearing a wetsuit that fits your body size ensures a comfortable experience, including protection from the cold. Furthermore, masks and snorkels are washed with detergent after each use. Hygiene is also a consideration, and the snorkel mouthpiece (the part you hold in your mouth) is covered with a dust cover after cleaning to prevent contamination. It's uncomfortable to wear wet wetsuits and boots. For this reason, we keep a dedicated drying room on hand to ensure your equipment is thoroughly dry before handing it over to you. We don't reuse equipment on the same day. We do our best to address any concerns or discomfort so you can focus on enjoying the ocean.

I previously worked at a food factory, but through a connection with my current CEO, I moved to Okinawa at the age of 24. I still remember my first snorkeling experience in Okinawa, when I was amazed by the beauty and wonder of the world. I also met many respectable people who care for others, and I am blessed with a life in Okinawa blessed with both the sea and the people. It may be presumptuous, but I truly hope that everyone can experience the same moving experience I felt with the beautiful, naturally protected sea, like a natural aquarium, and the warmth of our heartfelt guides. I've loved the ocean since I was a child, and I've always dreamed of working in the ocean someday. In the six years since I made that dream come true, I've guided many customers, from two-year-olds to people in their eighties. What makes me happiest is when people say things like, "Nana-chan's smile healed me," or "I was able to enjoy myself with peace of mind." Nice to meet you. My name is Koichi Aikawa, and I'm the "Okinawa Grandpa" who watches over the natural aquatic ocean. I'm also known as "Ocean" by adults. I've been involved in the underwater world for 34 years, and have guided over 50,000 people to date. My motto is "Assume the worst, do your best, and find the golden mean." I value safety measures and emotional support so that even beginners and non-swimmers can enjoy the ocean with peace of mind. Our tours, where you can encounter sea turtles, clownfish, and other creatures found only in the wild, are like an underwater aquarium. As the "Grandpa of the Sea," I'm kind to children and deeply soothing to adults, and I continue to create happy moments at John Man Beach every day.
