Yonezawa Studio is a townhouse studio in Nishijin, Kyoto, that offers one-day pottery experiences, pottery classes, and pottery production and sales. Nishijin, Kyoto, is known for its gorgeous Nishijin textiles. Even now, the rhythmic sounds of looms can be heard from the quiet area lined with old Kyoto townhouses. The house, called "Oriya-ken," was built to house the huge looms, and is a townhouse suitable for a studio, with a normal townhouse on the front and an open-ceiling workshop in the back, truly integrating work and living space.
