This vegetable dyeing is also used in some of the dyeing techniques of Oshima Tsumugi. At Amami-no-Sato, you can actually dye handkerchiefs and other cloth products with plant dyes to create original scarves in deep colors. After the experience, you can take a walk in the elegant Japanese garden that shows the expressions of the four seasons and the Amami-style garden that reproduces the virgin forest of Amami.
