Our school is headed by Junji Nagaoke, the first Japanese person to obtain an ACA (American Canoe Association) certified instructor qualification, and is a full-fledged hands-on school that offers safe and fun tours to beginners. ●The kayaks used are made by Viking Kayak, which boasts the highest quality standards in the world, and are currently the only kayaks made in Japan. Basically, it seats three people, with one child in the lower grades of elementary school and two adults on board, for a total of three people. For older elementary school students, two people can ride with one adult on board. Two adults can ride together.

A log house near Amagi-goe - Joren Falls in the middle of Izu is a landmark. This is a plan where you can experience making pizza in a handmade stone oven (geo kiln) made from lava (scoria) from a volcano (Mt. Hachikubo). Stretch out the fermented pizza dough and add any toppings you like with fresh local ingredients. If you put it in a stone oven at about 300 degrees, piping hot pizza will be ready in about 3 to 4 minutes.
